About Me: 

Booklist’s Audiobook Narrator of the Year and multi Audie-winner, including for Best Female Narrator, Tavia Gilbert is the acclaimed narrator of more than 650 full-cast and multi-voice audiobooks, and has performed for virtually every publisher in the industry. She is a three-time nominee and one-time winner of Voice Arts Awards, the recipient of a ListenUp Award, more than twenty Earphones Awards, and three Parent’s Choice Awards. Tavia earned a BFA in Acting from Cornish College of the Arts, studied audio documentary storytelling at the Salt Institute, and holds an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Vermont College of Fine Arts, where she teaches regularly in the Writing MFA and Writing & Publishing MFA programs. She is the writer and producer of several nonfiction podcasts with a global audience, and is developing a scripted fiction podcast, The Abels, in collaboration with the BBC.
